We received Great news today! I'm so excited to share. Cart had his follow up with the Urologist today. They did lots of bloodwork which all came back NORMAL! They also did a repeat Semen Analysis (SA). First off to fill in the new followers, in the past Cart's SA have shown 0% normal sperm. Well the Urologist wanted a repeat SA since it had been awhile since the last one. This time Cart had 50% normal! That is fantastic news.
Your probably wondering what he did differently to have such a HUGE increase in those numbers. Well he abstained for 2 extra days. Basically, all the other SA's that he's had done it was 3day between. This time the doc wanted 5days. Can you believe it?
What does this mean for our TTC efforts. Well this means that we have to have PERFECTLY timed intercourse. To give us the best numbers we basically DTD 5 days prior to ovulation and then again right around ovulation.
I'll be scheduling my Lap for May and then afterward we'll try on our own with the Perfectly Timed method and if that doesn't work we may contemplate injectable IUIs because that method can be timed much better.
We are beyond excited about this news!
