Today I followed up with my doc about my sleep study. He said "well you don't have sleep apnea, but they say you have a breathing sleep disorder." Then he tells me there isn't a real treatment for it. Basically when I'm sleeping my breathing is slow and I take more frequent deep breaths. He said I could use sleeping pills or anti-depress meds to get better sleep. He said the anti-depressants will shut my brain off so I can sleep better. He's having me try those first and if they don't help with my sleep issues then he wants me to take sleeping pills.
I'm not sure breathing that is slow and sometime deep is a good thing or something to take lightly. Something to think about.
